The truth is out: Artificial Intelligence (AI) should be re-named Artificial Stupidity (AS), as if we needed more of that in this world...
Regarding mushrooms, I like this comment at the bottom of the article: All mushrooms are edible, some only once.
The problem with such AI tools is that they crawl through the web, picking up snippets of information seemingly randomly here, there, everywhere. And of course without a clue as to what's what. Maybe the AI bot, in this case, found a website called, "How to poison your mother-in-law", and there was the recipe in question - with mushrooms!
